Fictional was founded in 1998. Gerrit Thomas created a few songs that did not fit for the other projects. After creating four songs he decided to start a new project. From then on, he made songs for Fictional on purpose.

Fictional has released only one album so far, Fictitious, on the Zoth Ommog label. There are no plans right now to make a new Fictional album.
